Skinny Salmon Burger

According to research from the University of Navarra (Spain), omega 3 helps to lose weight. So with this burger, not only you get a light and refined flavor, the salmon can aid in the fight against the scale.
Another advantage? Eating more fish helps you sleep better.
How about putting all these benefits into a quick and practical meal?

Nothing better than a burger, which you make with few ingredients.

The following recipe yields 4 servings.

400 g of fresh salmon (no skin)
1 egg white
3 tablespoons cottage cheese
2 grated onions
2 teaspoons grated ginger
Lemon zest
Salt and black pepper to taste

1/2 cup chicken broth
2 cups grape juice
1/2 cup tomato juice
1/2 chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, chopped
Salt and black pepper to taste

Method of preparation
Chop the salmon.
Add the grated onions, lemon zest, ginger, cottage cheese, egg white, salt and pepper.
Shape into four burgers.
Transfer to a plate lined with baking paper.
Let is cool down for an hour.
Heat a non-stick frying pan.
Grill the burgers on both sides until golden brown.

For the sauce, heat a nonstick pan.
Sauté the onion and the garlic until dry.
Add the rest of the ingredients and keep on medium heat until reduce.
Serve the hamburgers.
